The research did not establish public counter hours, so confirm availability before visiting. Different records have different custodians:
- For a county booking record or releasable booking photo, start with the county arrest hub and then ask the Sheriff’s Office custodian.
- For a person just booked, use the official active roster or call the detention question line.
- For a New Bern, Havelock, or Trent Woods police report, contact that city’s police records route.
- For a filed case or final disposition, contact the Craven County Clerk of Superior Court at 252-639-3000.
